The game is also releasing this fall on the PlayStation Portable.

“Chinatown Wars is a perfect match for the iPhone and iPod touch,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We are very excited to bring this incredibly ambitious version of Liberty City, with this level of detail and immersive gameplay on Apple’s new gaming platforms.”

Chinatown Wars follows Huang Lee, the member of a gang who travels to Liberty City to investigate the death of his father. Unlike recent Grand Theft Auto games that use 3D visuals, Chinatown Wars is played from a top-down perspective.

    A blowout Las Vegas bachelor party turns into a race against time when three hung-over groomsmen awaken after a night of drunken debauchery to find that the groom has gone missing, and attempt to get him to the alter before his wedding day.
